A recent visit to Chobe Safari Lodge brought together members of the Marasa Africa management team and the lodge-based team for a day of connection, reflection and shared purpose.
While each Marasa Africa property has its own distinct setting and character, the experiences delivered across the group are made possible by teams working together towards one wider vision.
The visit created an opportunity for colleagues from the lodge and the wider Marasa Africa team to reconnect, exchange ideas and strengthen the relationships that support the continued growth of both Chobe Safari Lodge and the overall brand.
To mark the occasion, the teams planted a tree within the grounds of the lodge—a simple gesture representing something much bigger.

The tree is a symbol of the two teams growing together, becoming more closely aligned and contributing to the continued growth of the overall Marasa Africa brand,” said Claire Mitchelle, Group Head of Sales and Marketing at Marasa Africa.
Just as the tree will require time, care and shared responsibility to grow, it reflects the relationship between the people based at the lodge and those supporting the properties across the wider group.
These connections play an important role in creating consistent and memorable experiences for Marasa Africa’s guests. They also remind us that, although our teams may work from different locations and in different roles, we remain rooted in one shared purpose.
As the tree grows at Chobe Safari Lodge, it will remain a living reminder of the day and of Marasa Africa’s continued commitment to growing together as one team.
